Hyatt Regency Koeln Hotel

I was impressed with the stunning view of the Rhine, the railway bridge, and the old town/Cathedral from my room at Hyatt Regency. The location was perfect - not too far from the city center but removed enough to enjoy a peaceful stay. The food choices were diverse, with an Italian restaurant and a bar offering snacks. The service was great, with attentive staff and a quick resolution to any issues I had.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city during the Christmas market season. It was just a short walk away from the train station and a bridge away from the main attractions. the view of the river and the cathedral was absolutely amazing, especially during the festive season. the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and provided excellent room service.

That the prices at the hotel were significantly higher during certain events, such as Gamescom. This could be a bit disappointing who have to pay for their own stay.

The hotel had a great look and feel, with a perfect location to explore the city. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The wellness area and pool were enjoyable, and the breakfast had a beautiful view of the river. The cleaning staff and the more senior pool guy were friendly and provided excellent service. Room service food was fast and tasty.

One drawback was that the hotel only showed river view examples of rooms, so it was a bit disappointing that our room didn't have the same view. Additionally, some of the staff, particularly the concierge and reception staff, seemed junior and not very proactive.

Great location, spacious rooms, excellent service. Helpful concierge staff and valet parking. Enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and two riverside restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The pool deck area was spacious and well-maintained, with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The staff serving the pool area were extremely attentive and made sure all our needs were met. I particularly enjoyed the lazy river pool and the water slide, which provided great entertainment for my granddaughter. The restaurants, including Harvest Bistro and Zeta, offered delicious food and excellent service. The location was perfect, as it was close enough to the Disney experience without the high prices of a Disney resort. Additionally, the hotel provided convenient transportation to Disney Land, making our visit hassle-free.

Good This hotel is a luxurious haven with exclusive amenities that catered to all my needs. the service is impeccable, and I particularly enjoyed the relaxing Spa & wellness centre with a massage, steam room, and sauna. the facilities are impeccable, including the Indoor swimming pool, Turkish bath, and treatment room. the restaurant serves delicious cuisine and provides in-room breakfast for added privacy. the location is perfect, providing stunning views of the city and within walking distance to places of interest.

Bad Although my experience was fantastic, the only downside was the limited number of sun loungers available at the Outdoor swimming pool. It was a minor issue and did not hinder my enjoyment, but it could be a problem during peak seasons.

This hotel is in an ideal location, just across the main bridge from the iconic cathedral and the bustling Christmas Markets. The city center is easily accessible as well. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The staff provides friendly and efficient service. The breakfast offers a wide selection, including an egg station. The hotel also boasts great facilities such as a swimming pool and a bar that serves delicious cocktails.

The hotel's parking fee is quite high compared to others.

The hotel's decor looks outdated, giving an ordinary feel. the common areas and guest rooms lack a modern touch that you would expect from a high-end hotel like this.

The spa and wellness centre had a variety of treatments, including massage and beauty treatments. the indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room were clean and relaxing, and the pool with view had comfortable sun loungers. In-room breakfast and packed lunches were available, and the restaurant offered special diet menus.

The only minor issue I had was with the bar/lounge area, which could be improved. Though the drinks were good, the atmosphere was lacking and it was not as luxurious as the rest of the hotel.
